Our Story
Loving Shepherd Orphan’s Home, We are an organization, working for the poor and needy and for the upliftment of the backward communities in the society. The Loving Shepherd Orphan’s Home is an organization established and working since 1995.
We work with slum dwellers, poor children, semi orphans, and old aged people. We are a registered trust (under 1860 Trust Act) established and working for widows, and young people, providing the needs to the local communities, emergency relief and Medical Aid. We always responded to the emergency situations, Natural Calamities like cyclones, floods, fire accidents and other emergency relief operations and helped to rescue thousands of families.
Our residential home, devoted to care for the poor children who, for various reasons, cannot be cared by their biological families. We want all Children and young people to have unrestricted access to education that supports and strengthens the learners in their ability to act. We are committed to transparency and following best practices in the work we do.
Education is a corner stone of the home’s mission. The children are given the opportunity to attend school and pursue learning something that many would not have had access to due to their disadvantaged backgrounds. Through education, the children gain the knowledge and skills they need to break the cycle of poverty and build a brighter future.
Our vision is that every child and young person has a safe and happy childhood, and the foundations they need to thrive.

Our Initiatives
Children Home
Many orphans and semi-orphans children are totally neglected and rejected by all means. The Orphan children's relatives make them slaves and have no protection for these children. They sleep on the roadsides, go begging and live on the roads. Many of these children don't go to schools; no one cares for these little ones. These needy children need education, food and shelter. In this regard we started children’s home for boys from very poor family backgrounds, who are school dropouts and their parents couldn’t afford them with good food and education. We provide food, shelter and education.

Adult Literacy
Adult literacy for women is a critical issue that impacts both individuals and communities worldwide. Women lack support from their families and communities to pursue literacy education. Adult literacy for women is not merely an educational issue; it is a cornerstone of development and empowerment. We provide women with skills to read write and engage critically with the world around them. Addressing the barriers that prevent women from becoming literate and implementing effective strategies to promote adult education can lead to stronger communities, healthier families.

Medical clinics
There are many poor people in remote tribal villages, suffering with different communicable diseases like Tuberculosis, Viral fevers, Leprosy, STD’s, HIV Aids. So we are in need of free medicines, medical camps and clinics.

Sewing Training Center
There are many women in our community who are very poor and they need skill training. We are planning to start a sewing training centre for these poor women so that they can learn and work for their own and earn little money for their livelihood and live a respectable life in the society.

Community Bore wells
We travel to different remote tribal and rural villages for outreach and we have found people with much need of Water. Many people suffer with jaundice disease, cholera, typhoid fevers and many other infectious diseases. Drinking water is a basic need and yet, many poor families do not have access to this basic need. We are in need of community water bore wells, so that we can provide pure drinking water to these people.
